It is being reported that Lana Del Rey’s 2012 song, 'Cola' was written about Harvey Weinstein. Page Six states that Del Rey wrote the track after she was pursued by the director and turned him down.

Apparently, the lyrics initially were: “I got a taste for men who are older, it’s always been so it’s no surprise. Harvey’s in the sky with diamonds and he’s making me crazy. All he wants to do is party with his pretty baby.”

Later in the song she says, “I know your wife, and she wouldn’t mind”.

A source told Page Six that when Weinstein heard the lyrics, he went “bananas” and insisted that she change the word “Harvey” to “he”.

The song was said to be written ironically after Weinstein made a move on Del Rey who “rebuffed him”. Two years after the song was released, Weinstein got the singer to do a song for his movie Big Eyes.

Neither Weinstein or Del Rey have commented on the rumours.
