Former Disney Channel star Debby Ryan has bamboozled fans over a photo of her, her husband Josh Dun, and their pets as fans are convinced it’s “AI-generated.”
The TV actress has been with Josh, one-half of the band Twenty One Pilots for some time now, and they tied the knot in 2019. Debby recently posted on her Instagram to celebrate the pair’s fourth wedding anniversary. Despite the pictures adorably featuring their pets, people can’t help but notice how one of the numerous photos she shared looks suspicious.
Debby celebrates four years of marriage
On Monday (January 1) the 30-year-old wrote a loving tribute to her music star spouse alongside some winter family photos. In the caption, the celebrity begged him to “never die and never stop kissing me.”
She said: “Four years wed – thanks for running lines with me and all the great meals we ate and troubleshooting my technology and carrying me to bed when I’m drowsy, and mostly for your perspective & your character. I fell in love this year more.
“Please never die and never stop kissing me.”

The snaps included their dog and cat, as well as the celebrity couple in double denim.
But it was one picture out of the cute montage in particular that caught fans’ attention.

One picture not only stands out from the rest as the Disney actress and Stressed Out singer aren’t wearing their matching denim outfits, but because Debby Ryan and her husband ‘look AI-generated’.
The picture has a grainy look to it, while Debby’s hair is styled differently from the rest in 70s-style curls. She sits in between her husband’s legs while holding their dog as 35-year-old Josh holds their cat.
One fan wrote: “What why does this not look like real faces is it AI?”
While a second penned: “This picture is curiously unsettling…”
Another said: “Why do they look like cardboard cutouts this is so uncanny valley to me.”
Other people were focused on the couple’s pets
While some fans couldn’t get over the ‘AI picture’ of Debby Ryan, others were concerned about the two pets. People said the cat looked “scary” and the dog was giving the camera a saucy “side eye.”
“After seeing this picture multiple times, my attention was drawn to the cat,” one user joked.
“It took me forever to see the cat omfg,” wrote someone else.
“Why does this cat look so scary? The other three look very cool.,” a fifth said.
